Reciprocal borrowing
Did you know that with your Clifton Public Library card you can visit nearly 500 different libraries in Illinois and check out or return items from them? It's a process called reciprocal borrowing. If you have a card from the CCLD, for example, it can be scanned at our library to check out our items, and you can return them either at our library or the CCLD! However, if you check out an item from a library that's not your home library, you are subject to their lending and fine policies. For a complete listing of all the libraries you have access to with your Clifton Public Library card, visit this link to the Share Illinois Heartland website: https://share.illinoisheartland.org/connect/member-libraries.
